Mother's Day and More

Hello everyone, we are accepting reservations for Mother's Day. We will feature our regular menu with some great specials. With the weather warming up the outdoor terraces will be in use and we are looking forward to a great year. I am very grateful for the support we received this Winter, as we opened on the weekends, thanks to all who came out. Our byow policy worked well. We will continue to allow folks to bring in there own wine with no corkage fee through the summer. The days that we will allow this are Tuesdays through Thursdays, but not on weekends. We have kept our prices very affordable without an increase and maintained the quality. Mona, who I mentioned in my last message has been doing an outstanding job managing and improving on all of our services. As we enter our 14th year in business I look back and I am grateful for the many people I have met and for the many who have become friends. In all honesty it is alway those familar faces that keep me going and to you I am forever g rateful. Have a great summer everyone and to all the Mom's thank you and Happy Mother's Day. Spring the season of new beginnings

Hello everyone, It is that wonderful time of the year again, everything being born again,the flowers, warm weather and of course al fresco dining at Civile's. It is an exciting time here at Civile's as we enter our 14th year in business, thanks to your constant and appreciated support. We vow to make your dining experience at Civile's better then ever. We have a new managing staff member to help me better serve your needs. Mona, who actually helped open Civile's in 1998, brings years of service exprience in the industry, will help insure that your dining experience at Civile's is a memorable one. Her presence will also allow me to better over see the service end of our restaurant, so that all your needs are met. I am in the process of booking entertainment for Sundays in the upcoming season. I have also created a lighter menu option for lunches, featuing gourmet sandwiches and salads. This menu will go into effect in April. Easter Sunday, April 8th we will be using our regular menu with feat ured specials. As of April 1st our bring your own wine policy will shift to weekdays only, no longer on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. Our docks should be in by April 15th, but please call to confirm this. Here at Civile's we know that we are living in difficult financial times so we have not raised our prices in a few years and we will continue to offer quality at affordable prices in a setting second to none. Valentine's Day

Things to come

Hello friends, We are officially open on the weekends. I originally posted that we would be open on Sundays, but with the Giants in the Super Bowl I thought it wiser to hold off on Sundays. However Sundays will be available for groups or parties when reserved in advance. I have had a few request for a special menu for lunch, so I put together a gourmet sandwich & salad menu, which we will put into use in the Spring. I will post it on our web site shortly so you may view it. We are doing bring your own wine on Fridays & Saturdays in the winter. We just ask that if you do bring your own wine that you do not combine that promotion with any other, thanks for understanding. It has been a great Winter thus far, unless of course you are a skier like myself. I hope everyone is well and before you know it Spring will be here. New Years Eve

Just a reminder we still have availability for New Years Eve. You can come for an early dinner or join us for The celebration at 9 o'clock. We use our regular menu for both and the later will feature live music and dancing, party favours will be supplied and there is a $40 surcharge per couple or $20 per person. We will close for vacation January 1st and re-open January 20th. We will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the Winter months. There will not be a byow policy on New Years Eve or Christmas Eve, but we will be doing byow on the weekends in the Winter months. A Holiday Greeting

Dear Friends, As the Holiday Season approaches it is hard to believe another year has past us by. This is a great time of the year, a time of great joy for many and perhaps sadness for others. I hope for all the joy out shines any sorrow. We are living in the most challenging times since the great depression and probably most of us did not go through that time but heard of the difficulties and trials people faced through our parents and grandparents. The one thing we can learn from those difficult times is that no matter how bad things got, the people we love family and friends seem to comfort us and sort out the truly important things and lessen the burdens that everyday life brings, bringing forth a hope for a better tomorrow. Hope brought about by the faith we have in a great God and love that he gave each us so unconditionally, that no matter how bad things get we are guaranteed that He will never fail us and see us through our most difficult times. This Holiday season I wish everyone comes to know the joy of the living God so that you may be comforted as we face the many trials that we may encounter in the upcoming year. I am thankful to all of you for your support and many your friendship. May the New Year be filled with Joy and may the worst of your days be only as bad as the best days of the past. Thanksgiving

Just wanted to get back to everyone and let you know we will be open on Thanksgiving Day. We will do a grand buffet with soup to nuts and a little Italian tossed in the mix. The cost will be $35.00 per person and half price for children. I am running a promotion now through December 1st buy $500.00 worth of gift certificates and pay only $300.00, great holiday gift for future dining at Civile's. Fall hours and dates to remember

Greetings to everyone, Well Autumn has arrived and we are now closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I have decided to do extend byow nights to every night in the fall. Yes that is right, you may now bring your own wine Wednesday through Sunday with no corkage fee. I know these are tough times for all of us and every little bit helps, so now for those of you who travel to Jersey on weekends where byow is common, now you can also save on gas and dine right here at Civile's with the same benefit and great food. Like I had mentioned in my last e-mail these are the best months for al fresco dining and do not forget the tent is heated on those cooler nights and the inside dining room is warm and cozy. I would like to be open this Thanksgiving November 24th. I will put it out there and if the response is positive that will be the plan. We would most likely do a Grand buffet featuring all the Thanksgiving traditional dishes from soup to nuts. Christmas and New Years Eves both fall on a Saturday and we will be op en. We will use our regular menu on both evenings. New Years Eve we will do two seatings the later seating which will be featuring live entertainment will have a surcharge of $40 per couple, noise makers and hats provided and dancing will be available. These would be the only nights where the byow policy would not be in effect. We will be closed on Christmas day. I am considering opening New Years Day for a brunch but that will be determined as we get closer and if the demand is there. We will close for vacation January 2nd and reopen Friday January 18th. As mentioned before we will be open after the 18th on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays for the entire Winter and we will be open Tuesday February 14th, Valentines Day. I know that all this may seem far off but as for myself the days just seem to be flying by and I just wanted to keep everyone informed sooner then later. Greetings

Hello everyone, I hope all are having a great summer. I know it is mid August already, but there is still plenty of great days left and al fresco dining well into October. We will be open on a regular basis up till the New Year. We will close for a short vacation in the beginning of January and then we will be open for the winter on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays for dinner. On those nights we will be featuring byow, bring your own wine with no fee. The inside dining room is very cozy, with murals of Venice and candlelight. We will keep the same menu which has been working out well with very affordable pricing and good selections. I am going to plan some special event evenings in the month of November that I will post soon. I am truly grateful to all of you for your constant support over the years. "Spring is in the air"

Praise God another long Winter has come to pass and here at Civile's we are anticipating the best year ever. We have changed our menu, leaning more towards traditional Italian and have lowered our prices to meet the affordability of all without compromising quality. We will re-open Wednesday, March 23rd. Our bring your own wine nights have been changed to Tuesdays and Wednesdays, no longer Fridays. We will start opening on Tuesdays in May. We have fine tuned ourselves in order to create a more affordable, memorable and lasting dining experience. So please come join us as we celebrate our 13th year in Rockland County, which has been made possible through you our loyal clientele. I will be out front this year and look forward to greeting and seeing everyone.
